Hello Mei Li Paperie friends!
You could have the ideas already included or ask guests or family members to help you by adding one of their own ideas. Here’s a few off the top of my head: Buy her flowers for no reason at all; tell him how handsome he looks today; drop everything and go on a quick ice cream date…. you get the idea and you can totally customize this for the lucky couple!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little idea and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the line!
I’m Jodi Sanford, owner of Fancy Pants Designs and I’m so happy to be here today sharing a little project I’ve been working on featuring our Burlap and Bouquets collection! I adore this line for many reasons—first, it’s just a beautiful line with pretty patterns mixed with graphics that I love. Second, it’s totally versatile for so many subjects, wedding, home decor, little girl, big girl and even boy with the bold graphic patterns. And, third, it’s just filled with fun embellishments and sophisticated pieces that make the project beautiful with little effort!
So, for my project I created a little handmade wedding gift. I thought this little project would make for a great wedding gift, but also a home decor and useful item for a newly married couple. The card uses one of our Brag Cards from the line and says ‘Always Be Kind and True’ and the jar coordinates with the card because it’s a jar filled with little ideas (written on paper) of how you can be Kind and True to your spouse! (You can explain the concept inside the card :))!

I super love this idea, so many of my friends are getting married right now and its such a great gift to give.. I would have loved to receive one when I got married 2 years ago. I may have to make one for us.. maybe using date night ideas. I love FancyPants because its line always give me freedom to create boy's layout without feeling girly while they're great for girly things too! So does this Burlap&Bouquet colletion.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the jar-idea, I'll try to make one for my home decor and keep it in mind when someone is getting married! :-)
I love this beautiful line's vintage, sweet pretty patterns mixed with graphics. I love it's neutral way which totally versatile for any projects, oh even suitable for boys project! I love the embellishments in this line especially the ticket roll, decorative tags, alpha stickers... oh I love the burlap print patterned paper as well! Thanks Jodi for your lovely idea! Thanks Mei Li Paperie for your great giveaway and chance of winning!
